FOR JUSTICE OF THE PEACE, PCT. 2

MY BACKGROUND
God has indeed blessed me, as I am the first in my family to go to college. I am a licensed attorney (since 1994) with broad experience in municipal, county, and state government issues. I have served as a general counsel, city councilman, county judge over probate and juvenile law matters, assistant city attorney and municipal court prosecutor, university professor, internal affairs investigator, government relations director, and exploration geoscientist.
I've had international experience as the CEO of a public company exploring for oil & gas in Israel. For eight years, I served as a statewide elected official at the Texas Railroad Commission -- the chief regulatory agency over the Texas energy sector (overseeing oil, natural gas, pipelines, surface mining, natural gas utilities). I previously served on various national and regional governmental advisory committees: Chair, OCS Advisory Committee to the U.S. Secretary of the Interior; Vice Chair, Interstate Oil & Gas Compact Commission; Chair, West Texas Energy Consortium.
